During implementation, a statistical vocabulary was developed. Google Speech API (Application Programming Interface) was employed for subtitling audio materials, and the most ideal time frame for reception was identified through several experiments. The sintering temperature used in the SPS technique is considerably lower than that used in the B-oxide method (200 to 400oC) with significant decrease of the duration of the sintering route, arriving to some minutes instead of some hours. </p> <p>The aim of the study is the investigation of the effect of sintering technique on the dielectric and ferroelectric properties of such piezoelectric materials. The properties of the developed ceramic materials were determined: the development of crystalline phases was investigated by X-ray diffraction technique and the microstructural behavior by scanning electron microscopy was observed. The composition obtained by the SPS technique shows a lower remnant polarization and maximum strain, as well as a higher coercive field, compared to the those obtained using the same composition produced by B-oxide method. </p>
ARTICLEtruehttps://sciendo.com/article/10.2478/amset-2023-00102023-12-14T00:00:00.000+00:00Remote User Interface for ABB IRB120 Robot Using TCP/IP Communication https://sciendo.com/article/10.2478/amset-2023-0018
<title style='display:none'>Abstract</title> <p>This paper presents the development and implementation of a remote user interface for the ABB robot using the TCP/IP protocol. As such it provides an important reference for researchers to have a broad epigrammatic cognizance of the mechanical behavior of these structures. Hollow structures have long been seen as a simple and effective means of light weight structures with high stability under buckling load and energy absorption capability. This has been used in numerous industrial and academic applications. In recent years there have been numerous innovative developments to hollow tubular structures, involving more bewildering and inventive hollow structures which are better than solid structures as well as aesthetically more appealing. The use of corrugation and advanced composite materials are giving an added advantage by the virtue of which researchers can easily alter these structures and can make it beneficial or transform it according to their desired application. </p>
ARTICLEtruehttps://sciendo.com/article/10.2478/amset-2023-00132023-12-14T00:00:00.000+00:00Considerations Regarding the Ergonomics of the Vehicle Interior https://sciendo.com/article/10.2478/amset-2023-0015
<title style='display:none'>Abstract</title> <p>The evolution of the vehicle industry, as well as the sudden increase in competition between manufacturing companies, dictates the increase in the obligations of manufacturers to meet the increasingly complex requirements of users, in terms of ergonomics, comfort, safety, as well as environmental protection. Researchers have investigated the factors influencing the ergonomics of the vehicle interior which is very practical to improve safety and driving performance in addition, it can significantly reduce the development costs and the development cycle of new vehicle concepts, but the concept of ergonomics was not clearly articulated from a human perspective. This study aims to interpret the definition of ergonomics in the context of the interior of the vehicles and also in the study the influencing factors of the ergonomics of the index layer of the human-machine interaction interface, in the central console of the vehicle, are identified. The influencing factors are analyzed by creating and visualizing bibliometric networks in VOSViewer. </p>
ARTICLEtruehttps://sciendo.com/article/10.2478/amset-2023-00152023-12-14T00:00:00.000+00:00Studies on the Corrosion Resistance of High Chromium Alloy Steelshttps://sciendo.com/article/10.2478/amset-2023-0014
<title style='display:none'>Abstract</title> <p>The paper studies the corrosion resistance of 40Cr130 in different structural states. The performance of the technique depends on the input data and available resources. Whereas, in Eclat the repeated scanning of the database is eliminated and consumes less time and we can conclude that Eclat is better than Apriori and Fpgrowth. A goal of manufacturers and users of exoskeletons is to determine the probability of proper functioning and increase their lifespan. Considering the extremely small number of exoskeletons for which the durations (cycles) of operation are known, in order to be able to make predictions on the characteristics of the average durations of operation, we used the bootstrap method. Through this method, starting from a small number of data collected from the exploitation of exoskeletons, a desired number of data "similar" to real data is obtained. We used the data of 10 exoskeletons of the same type and their operating times with which 2000 replicates were generated. The data were processed using the EasyFit program and the functional probabilities of the exoskeletons were deduced. A pilot study was performed in order to find the usefulness of using a passive or active torso support exoskeleton in the ICU for prone positioning. It demonstrated a lower degree of fatigue in the subjects who used the exoskeletons.</p>
ARTICLEtruehttps://sciendo.com/article/10.2478/amset-2023-00022023-06-09T00:00:00.000+00:00Effects of Using Operational Balanced Scorecard in Automotive Industry. However, the usefulness of these agents depends to a large extent on the naturalness of their movements. The classification procedure presented in this article aims to increase the naturalness of the head movements of human-like agents. The method is capable of estimating the vertical range of head movement from the speech sound alone, and thus allows a final phase amplitude correction of the generated head movements of virtual talking heads in order to increase naturalness. The advantage of the method, is that it does not require visual information, works for general subjects, its precision and effectiveness can be improved by defining further classes, and it can improve the naturalness of any head movement generation method’s output by a posterior amplitude scaling.</p>
ARTICLEtruehttps://sciendo.com/article/10.2478/amset-2023-00012023-06-09T00:00:00.000+00:00Implementation of 5-axis Robot Arm for Automatic Processeshttps://sciendo.com/article/10.2478/amset-2022-0017
<title style='display:none'>Abstract</title> <p>This project devotes to implement the 5-axis movable robot arm leads to provide an automated process for capturing the utensils. For instance, Transmission losses increase when reactive power is unevenly distributed on transmission network; and power quality is affected as well. The cheapest way of reducing these transmission lines losses is via reactive power dispatch approach. This study therefore proposes an Improved Chaotic Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm (ICPSO) with the primary aim of reducing real power transmission line losses while adhering to system constraints. Although the traditional PSO has a fast convergence speed, it falls easily into local optimum and it is slow at the later stage of convergence. The ICPSO is proposed in this research to overcome these shortcomings. The approach combines PSO with chaotic map which increases particles’ diversity, allowing particles to explore the search region more; and a wingbeat frequency component which helps to sustain the rate of convergence of particles. MATPOWER 7.1 in MATLAB 2019a environment was utilized for the implementation. The purported algorithm was examined on IEEE14 and IEEE30 Test Beds respectively. When tried out on IEEE14 Test bed, real power loss was reduced from 13.393 MW to 12.260 MW; whereas real power transmission line loss was brought down from 17.557 MW to 15.977 MW when tried out on IEEE30 Test Bed. In terms of reducing real power transmission lines losses, the simulation results show that the proposed approach performs better when compared with other algorithms.</p>
ARTICLEtruehttps://sciendo.com/article/10.2478/amset-2022-00132022-12-12T00:00:00.000+00:00en-us-1
